RIMS Ranchi Campus Facilities and Infrastructure
RIMS Ranchi campus is spread over 214 acres and built with a complete infrastructure, which includes 1500 bedded multi-speciality hospital with advanced diagnostic tools. Ten bedded Oncology centre with the Radiation Machinery and Trauma centre with 14 beds.
- Auditorium: There are two auditoriums on the RIMS Ranchi campus, one being a multipurpose auditorium which hosts several RIMS Ranchi seminars, functions and competitions. The small one serves as a lecture theatre and a venue for small events and meetings.
- Canteen: RIMS campus also includes a canteen open throughout the day and serves delicacy for the medical students. The campus also has a coffee shop open till late at night and gives the students their much-needed daily caffeine to work through their hectic days and nights.
- Parks: RIMS Ranchi campus includes many parks. Some of them are the Rajendra Prak, Major Sankalp park, Sanjeevni park, Albert Ekka Park, Swami Vivekananda Park and the RIMS Circle. The RIMS faculty and students have donated a lot for plantations all over the campus, especially in the parks, where a majority of saplings and plants were planted with the help of donations made by students and doctors.
- Stadium: The RIMS Ranchi stadium was recently rebuilt to include a stand for audiences which can seat 1000 people at a time. The pedestrian walk around the stadium is a favourite spot for joggers and casual walks for students and faculty alike.
- Hostel: Students at RIMS Ranchi experience the virtual realms of life residing in a hostel. Beyond books and lectures, the student grows by comprehending a great deal about independence, struggle, management, politics, unity and companionship during their stay in the hostel. RIMS Ranchi started establishing various clubs and associations in 2016. The RIMS Ranchi clubs involve students in different kinds of activities to promote the overall development of the students. - Literary Club: A literary club does all the work about literary events. The literary club had organised a signature campaign and a hand imprinting campaign for all the institute members with the idea of bringing them together. An essay writing competition was also held. The RIMS Ranchi literary club also looks after the publication of the annual information booklet, ' Varnan ' and an annual students magazine, 'Spriha'.
